First Notification Of Loss

Speed of Notification

FMG’s First Notice of Loss service is provided by our highly experienced people 24/7/365, making no distinction between ‘in hours’ and ‘out of hours’ services. Our claims management processes have been refined in consultation with direct fleets, leasing companies and insurers over many years, to deliver a high-quality, right-first-time solution.

We have invested heavily in our in-house technology platform Ingenium-i, providing a unique flexibility to tailor all our processes to specific customer requirements, whilst retaining tight control over every process, cost and deadline.

Safety is of paramount importance and we always verify that the driver and any passengers are safe and unharmed when an incident is reported. In the event that the driver/passengers involved in the incident sustain any injuries, FMG Legal LLP are able to assist, by offering our Personal Injury service, whereby medical assessment and any associated medical support is initiated.

Triage

Based on a combination of specific damage, vehicle information, customer rule-sets and insurer requirements; our technology platform Ingenium-i automatically chooses the right repair partner based on our 5-spoke repair methodology. Using its direct integration with systems such as Audatex and Inter-est, Ingenium-i automatically sends a new notification to the relevant supplier’s estimating system, accurately transferring the necessary details.

We proactively encourage drivers to report incidents as soon as it is safe to do so, recognising that time is critical to a controlled and successful claim.

Based on the details and circumstances captured at FNOL, Ingenium-i instantly triggers the relevant workflows; whether that be to initiate an Uninsured Loss Recovery claim, a Third Party claim, or a Personal Injury claim. With all services managed in-house, this results in significant efficiency and therefore substantially reduced vehicle off road times and overall claims costs.

Third Party Capture
